About Me

I'm a mother, daughter, sister, wife, colleague, friend, neighbor, citizen. I have lived in the Gallatin Valley for 14 years, building my mental health wisdom in the communities of Montana. I have worked with individuals, families, agencies, volunteer organizations, grants, and government institutions. I know the resources intimately, and I'm well aware of the failings of the mental health system in this state.

I also know intimately the opportunities for growth, healing, and thriving in a world that can feel heavy and confusing. In graduate school at the University of Texas at Austin, one of my professors told me that my job was to "plant the seed and carry the hope". I have such gratitude for the space you are inviting me into. Such a vulnerable place to invite someone into your pain. I will not take this opportunity for granted. My mission is to partner with you to develop a clearer pathway to the living you want to get back to.

My primary approach is a developmental-relational foundation. Humans are constantly evolving, and I view the struggle that brought you to therapy as a developmental need that is currently unmet. And the foundational tool that I utilize for healing potential is relationship. With my training and professional guidance, I have developed many more tools to support your journey with me:

  • Attachment & the Relational-Developmental Model

  • Circle of Security

  • Dialectical Behavioral Therapy

  • Gottman Institute
